Yes, 12 can be a part of more than one fact family because the fact family 3*4 or 6*2 or 9+3.

Fact Family #1

3 x 4 = 12

4 x 3 = 12

12 / 3 =4

12/ 4 =3


Fact Family #2:


6 x 2 = 12

2 x 6 = 12

12 / 6 = 2

12 / 2 = 6
