to find f(g(3))

lets first find g(3)

to find g(3) we plug 3 for x in g(x)

So g(3) = [tex] 3^2 +1 [/tex] = 9+1 = 10

Now to find f(g(3)) we plug the value of g(3) which is 10

So

f(g(3)) = f(10) = 2(10) +3 = 20 +3 = 23

So

f(g(3)) = 23
